Project: Education and Best Practices of Real Estate Administration for China’s National Government
The focus of the engagement was to educate, inform and recommend to the National Government in China, the best practices within the Real Estate Industry throughout North America. The Government sought to adopt and install industry best practices where applicable, in order to enhance and systemize more of the land administration, valuation and property taxation processes currently used. Engagement was further expanded to provide consulting, oversight and guidance to National Companies who were building real estate applications for the Government. Project results included; adoption of report recommendations for pilot study programs, new software applications and further grew to include publishing a textbook for all Government Users on processes, procedures and optimization of land administration for the Nation.
Project: Adoption of Technology in Real Estate
This project was completed for a Provincial Government in Canada and involved analysis of all technology stacks and applications within use in North America to assist users in valuing real estate.  The project conducted site visits throughout North America to view and determine valid use cases for technology in real estate valuation.  The result was a comprehensive report, in depth analysis with substantiated recommendations for creation & adoption of a complete software application which saved the users millions of dollars, reduced cycle time for property inspections and corrected missing or incorrect data need for valuation protocols.   Return on investment to the client was 5:1 (including cost of technology) or 10:1 (measured on efficiency gains).  Since that point, the technology was implemented by a private sector company as a stand alone start up and turned into a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software application which is sold to user/clients throughout North America.

This project involved a 360degree quality assurance program for a medical imaging service provider with multiple clinics, dozens of physicians and hundreds of staff. The assessment was conducted over 3 weeks, including a systematic review of policies and processes, interviews with staff and physicians, and cross correlation with industry standards and requirements set forth by the College of Physicians and Surgeons. A report was submitted that outlined areas for process improvement including: improved patient flow from check-in to departure, increased patient volume via the elimination of unnecessary steps, decrease in staff turnaround time per patient and improved staff knowledge through monthly education sessions.
Project Reactor
The first of its kind in Canada – the project involved utilizing cutting-edge x-ray technology to provide on-site medical imaging to the staff of a nuclear reactor facility. A complete assessment of requirements, standards and reporting chain was required prior to setting up the remote imaging facility. Upon analysis of the initial suggested patient flow, the company was able to provide the requisite imaging in half the time initially assumed. This resulted in decreased cost for the facility, and increased profits for the company.
Project Silverstone
An Internet-of-Things (IoT) analysis for one of the largest fibre optic cable companies in North America, this project entailed a detailed analysis of existing markets and forecast demand, technological innovation, international suppliers, and the cost-benefit pricing structure to end-users.
